Do you charge for Parents?
Yes, everyone pays to come into the building. Non-skating parents coming in at the same time as their children are not charged at that time. If you come in later without your child, everyone pays.
If my friends are coming to skate, do I need to pay if I'm not skating?
Everyone entering the building pays.
Do you allow in and out privileges?
No. When you leave, you leave. If you want to come back in, you must pay admission again.
Do you sell food?
Yes! Slushies, Personal Sized Pizza, ALL BEEF Hot Dogs, Pretzels & Ricos Nachos. Pepsi products.
Can I bring in food from the outside?
No outside food or drink. Only exception: birthday cake during an open skating session with a Public Birthday Party reservation.
Do you have a dress code?
Yes. Neat and clean. No suggestive or vulgar language on clothing. No bare clothing, tank tops, undershirts, or cut-off shirts. Shirts must be fully closed — no open backs or bare stomachs. No hats in the building. Strictly enforced.
Can we chew gum or smoke?
No. No gum chewing or smoking of any kind.
Do you sell gift certificates?
Yes, available at the front office.
Do you take requests for songs?
Yes! We have a music library with over 7,000 songs. Our Floor Host will make every effort to play your favorite song.
Can I rent Skateland West privately?
Yes! We offer Exclusive Events on select days. Check our Private Events page for more info.
How far in advance do I need to make party reservations?
Open Events: at least 2 weeks in advance. Exclusive (Private) Events: 30 days to 6 months, depending on availability. No last-minute parties.
What forms of payment do you accept?
Cash Only!
Can I pay with a check?
No personal checks.
What size skates do you rent?
Juvenile size 7 to adult size 15.
Can I bring my own skates?
Yes. All kinds of regular roller skates and inline skates are welcome. They must be safe and clean.
Can I wear my Heelys?
No. No heely-type skates, hover boards, skateboards, or other non-approved equipment.
Can my child wear FP Grow with me skates?
No. No skates where you put the child's shoe into the skate.
Do you sell skates?
Yes! We stock Sure-Grip and Riedell skates. Other brands available upon request.
If my child doesn't skate well, can I walk on the floor?
During open skate, parents cannot enter the skating floor with shoes on to help children.
Where can I get skating lessons?
Right here at Skateland West! Every Saturday from 1:30-2:00 PM for just $15.
